LRs can help get to hard-to-reach areas. U6-Pros are of little value in a home. I have more than this because I want coverage to overlap outside. Latency seems to be stable between 15-25 range. Nothing in my event logs, been rock solid since I got it. 2w 5 days since I've installed it. It's much better than my comcast modem that i had before. I would see high latency errors time to time.A little research, and it looks like this is how the APs do auto-meshing, so in theory, just disabling "Meshing" under each AP's settings in the Controller, and then under Settings > System > Advanced > Wireless Networking, disable the options for "Wireless Meshing" and "New WiFi Device Auto-Link", and the hidden SSID should disappear.Ubiquiti is no longer interested in the customers who wanted EdgeRouters so unfortunately you'll have to move on to a different brand. I suggested VyOS because EdgeOS is a fork of it and it would be an easy migration path forward, plus it's got a free community edition. This allows for higher speeds and better reliability. More AP's at lower TX power is better than bigger AP's with big TX power. Look at like this.
