The side effect profile for CGRP drugs, and Nurtec in particular is night and day compared to triptans. The only statistically significant side effect is nausea (~2% of people, and taking with an antiemetic usually solves it). I've been on Nurtec every other day for 2 months and it's given me a lot of cognitive function back with no side effects. .
